Tucked on the Allegheny River by the 31st Street Bridge, Washington’s Landing has everything from scenic overlooks featuring downtown to a stone wall and staircase with the 40th Street Bridge as a background. It also boasts grassy fields juxtaposed with industrial remnants of the island’s past. This industrial edge is most on display at the Herr’s Island Bridge and is a popular photo spot!

Washington’s Landing is remote enough that it is often not busy and allows for a relaxed stroll around the island while taking photos. Parking is located at the Washington’s Landing Public Tennis Courts and the Three Rivers Trail Parking for shots over at Herr’s Island Bridge.
